Hello, I’m Nikhita and I’m currently a Physics student at the University of Manchester (fantastic city, by the way!). I decided to take the plunge and start this blog as a token to positive living. We’re living in a time where stress levels and negativity are at an all-time high (just turn on the news) – it is so important to slow down once in a while, catch your breath, reflect, and appreciate. Then back it is to the rat-race, supercharged and raring to go.
Recently, I have had quite the journey that has not been short of hurdles in various shapes, forms and sizes. At times it felt all too easy to just throw in the towel, but for the first time in quite some time I feel strong, positive and happy, and ready to move onto the next phase of my life. None of this would be possible without a fantastic support network of family and friends, you are all truly my strength! ♥
I genuinely hope that this blog helps people who are facing tough times (whether it be work or study stress, relationship/family issues, anything – always remember that you are not suffering alone), or just those of you who would occasionally like to read something light-hearted, pleasant and (I do try) a little bit funny.
